Soul Element (aka Stacy Kidd & Peven Everett) – How Bad I Want Ya [12″]

Daybreakers head to Chicago for this one, bringing back How Bad I Want Ya from Soul Element, aka Stacy Kidd alongside Peven Everett. This record is a true representation of the city Stacys deep approach to house music and Pevens unmistakable voice up front. It carries that raw, direct energy that defines a lot of their best work. How Bad I Want Ya has been around for a while now since 2010, one of those records that stayed in bags and never really disappeared. Its a proper slice of deep house with a vocal that stays in your head. The original keeps things direct and deep. No excess, just a track that does what it needs to do on the floor. On the B side, Glenn Underground steps in with the Peak True Time Mix, stretching things out and adds some percussion and an infectious bassline. Its a proper GU remix longer and patient, while keeping that Chicago swing intact.A1. Original MixB1. GU Peak True Time Mix
