Michael Gately – Gately: Still ‘Round [CD]

After years spent behind the scenes in New York studios writing songs for artists like Gene Pitney and Blood, Sweat and Tears, Michael Gately stepped forward with this understated and personal body of work. Recorded in 1972 with top session players, this second and final LP of his solo career highlights the melodic clarity and quiet depth that defined his brief and underexplored time as a recording artist.
