The most influential slide guitarist in the world of Blues, Elmore James was also a major innovator who composed some of the greatest Blues standards of all time including “It Hurts Me Too,” “The Sky Is Crying,” “Rolling And Tumbling,” to name a few. He was a huge influence on many modern rock and blues bands including the Allman Brothers band, who covered many of his songs. These rare sessions capture James at his best. Newly remastered.
