Retromigration – Can’t Go [LP]

Amsterdam-based producer Retromigration makes his debut on the launch of a new Oathcreations imprint Karamrselli with Can’t Go, a hyper-kinetic and rapturous piece of dance music sure to ensnare any dancefloor. Inspired by soul, funk, jazz, and hip-hop, his auditory identity is one of profound melodic effusion and expert percussive sequences, absorbed within life-affirming atmospheres. “Can’t Go” feels like yet another landmark, tuning itself into the pulsating energies of the club, drawing lines between bass music, footwork, garage and jungle. The release is completed with “Distant,” featuring fuller harmonies, a tear-jerking chordal line and a spiritual sax solo.A1. Can’t Go A2. Can’t Go (Amor Satyr & Siu Mata Remix)B1. No MoreB2. Distant
